Soulkeepers began in December 2008 with the promise of becoming the most successful Mexican comic of today.
Since the appearance of the first edition, Soulkeepers became the best selling Mexican comic in the republic and in Guadalajara (place of origin) has outsold foreign comics translated into Spanish.
Currently 24 editions have already published and two compilations books. The comic is organized by seasons and the first three of them are already completed. (the first two books collect the first and second season respectively).
Soulkeepers participates in major exhibitions, fairs and comic´s conventions as the Concomics of Guadalajara and “La Mole Comic convention” in Mexico city, in addition to having already participated in three consecutive occasions in the International Book Fair FIL of Guadalajara.
The comic follows the adventures of a group of teenagers who are facing the threat of a terrible creatures with the ability to capture the soul of human beings. It has been created and written by Fernando Sanchez Antillon FERS (creator of Gavo mascot of the Pan American Games of Guadalajara 2011). The drawing is by Rene Cordova (art director of animated films) and the team of artists is complemented by Emmanuel Ordaz, Quetzal Cardenas and Clonerh.
